Q4: How easy is it to Install the Dryer Vent Cover, and are there any specific requirements?

A: The dryer vent seal is quick to assemble with pre-drilled holes on the base for easy mounting. It must be installed in a vertical position for proper functionality.

Q5: I cannot open the lid fully. The plastic hinges seem to be preventing it.

A: The lid of the Raeflow dryer vent is equipped with securely fastened hinge tabs to ensure stability and prevent the lid from opening unintentionally during operation. This design is intentional, as it helps maintain the proper functionality of the dryer vent.

That said, the lid is engineered to open fully under normal use and will not break with gentle pressure. By applying slight force, the lid should open completely without issue.

Q6: What if the lid breaks?

A: If the lid becomes damaged or breaks, you do not need to replace the entire dryer vent cover. A replacement lid can be purchased separately and easily installed.
